March resident will not pay full council tax over street lights gripe

When the residents of The Birches, March, thought things could not get any worse, it has.

Now the council are pictured in the Citizen saying they gave a £90,000 Christmas gift to the young people of March – our council tax money.

How about the same council give residents of The Birches only £1,000 for a New Year present?

Or maybe said council might erect floodlights so the skaters can see when it’s dark.

Well, I for one will not be paying full council tax this year because I will not pay for something I’m not getting.

So, I would say to the council – get your priorities right and look after the good people of The Birches, who are keeping you in employment.
