Cannabis factory uncovered at Mile Tree Lane in Wisbech

Police uncovered a large cannabis factory after being granted an emergency warrant by the courts.

Officers had suspicions about a house on Mile Tree Lane in Wisbech, and were proven correct after executing a search on Friday.

Photographs shared on social media show a large number of cannabis plants being grown - and the force has now urged people to be mindful of signs that they are living near similar factories.

These include a strong smell of cannabis, blacked out windows, and the loud whirring of fans.
