'Why not convert Sutton Bridge power station it into an incinerator?'

A letter writer has a rather controversial idea for a dormant power station...
I have read the article about Sutton Bridge Power Station and learned that it went bust but has now been sort of rescued but it appears that the gas to make work is too expensive.
I have a suggestion – convert it to burn rubbish and knock the one proposed in Wisbech on the head, which would be of benefit to Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire and Norfolk.
I personally think an incinerator is a good thing but out in the sticks, not next to a town.
There are many industrial estates away from towns and villages.
