Little angels delight at Wisbech

A nativity play celebrating Christmas across the world has been staged by Wisbech Grammar School’s preparatory school.

All the pupils aged four to seven at Magdalene House Preparatory School were involved in the two performances of Children of the World, attracting an audience of nearly 200.

Director of music at Magdalene House Marie Cunningham said: “The play is a real mixture of old and new and a celebration from children around the world. All of our infant pupils have captured the spirit of Christmas through song and dance, and it really was a magical journey.”

The school’s choir has been spreading yuletide cheer to Peckover House, Wisbech Tesco store and North Cambridgeshire Hospital
