Trial for man who denies causing grievous bodily harm and possession of knife following stabbing in Wisbech




A man will go on trial later this year after denying grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife following an incident in Wisbech last month.

Lewis March, 35, of no fixed address but from the Fenland area, appeared in Cambridge Crown Court this morning, charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife.

He pleaded not guilty and remains in custody until his trial on August 11 at Cambridge Crown Court.

Police were called at 12.25pm on Monday, March 24, to reports of a man being stabbed in Church Terrace.

Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
