A man was trapped inside a forklift truck after an incident at Hanson Brick in Kings Dyke, Whittlesey yesterday.

Firefighters from Stanground and Whittlesey were called at 4.04pm on Monday, September 7, and used specialist equipment to release the male casualty.

The man, in his 40s, was unconscious after two folk lift trucks collided.

He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance for further treatment.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was also in attendance.

Fire crews returned to station by 5.05pm.
