March man injured in hit and run
A pedestrian was left injured after a hit-and-run incident in March on Monday, March 30.
The 26-year-old man, from March, was hit by the car in North Drive as he was crossing the road near to the junction of Deerfield Road.
The victim was crossing the road at about 6.45am when he was struck from behind by a vehicle that failed to stop, causing him to fall and injure his face and hip.
His injuries were said to be minor. PC Tania Weston is appealing for witnesses.
She said: “Unfortunately the victim did not manage to get any of the vehicle’s details.
“However the driver knows who they are and I urge them to come forward and make contact with police.”
