Halfords on Meadowlands Retail Park set to close doors
This Friday (17) will see another retailer shut its doors for the last time in March.
Halfords, the UK's largest retailer of motoring products, is set to close its store on the Meadowlands Retail Park off Wisbech Road.
It's another loss for the town, which has already seen M&Co announce it is closing all its branches including the one on Broad Street later this spring, adding to a number of already empty units littering the town centre.
Halfords has decided not to renew the lease at the Meadowlands site and, if they're quick, motorists can pick up a bargain thanks to a closing down sale currently running at the branch - offering as much as 50% off some items.
Those still wishing to use Halfords in person will have to travel to either Wisbech, Huntingdon or Peterborough to shop or orders can be made online.
