New team running police operations in Huntingdonshire

A new Senior Management Team has been established to oversee policing in the Huntingdonshire district.

Chief Inspector Laura Hunt remains in post, but has welcomed Detective Inspector Bryan Driver and Inspector Paul Rogerson to her team, along with new HR Manager Hayley Watson.

The changes in personnel follow the retirement of Inspector Dick Lowings and the substantive promotion of Detective Inspector Leigh Allman.

Chief Inspector Laura Hunt said: “Bryan has worked in a variety of different roles and has a strong investigative, intelligence and public protection background. With the clear focus - rightly so - on safeguarding and protecting the vulnerable. We are very fortunate to have him joining us.

“Paul has a strong partnership and strategic background and these experiences will be of great benefit to the area.

“I am confident that our combined experiences, knowledge and skills will make for a strong team; one that will continue to focus on our policing priorities of responding to community concerns, investigating crime and protecting the vulnerable, promoting and empowering staff professionalism, and, of course, keeping people safe.”
