Objections have been lodged against plans to build 50 homes in Downham.
Barker Bros Builders wants to develop a 7.5 acre site south of Rouses Lane.
The planning application, which has been lodged with West Norfolk District Council, proposes a mixture of homes including affordable units and bungalows.
But concerns about traffic and infrastructure have prompted a number of objections from people in the town.
Jamie Ward lodged comments on the council’s website about the congestion on Howdale Road.
He states: “Too many use this as a rat run and travel well in excess of the speed restriction. Around school times, traffic is at a standstill along Howdale Road towards the roundabout.”
