Manea Parish Council meeting seeks to address flooding problems

Reports of flooding in a Fenland village are set to be addressed at a parish council meeting.

Manea residents are invited to join representatives from Anglian Water, Cambridgeshire County Council and Fenland District Council at the public meeting on Wednesday, November 3, which will be hosted by Manea Parish Council.

Attendees will be briefed on the current flooding situation in the area and the measures that are being taken to alleviate the problem.

There will also be the opportunity to ask questions to the panel.

The meeting will start at 7pm.

Other areas of Fenland have been flooded recently.

Last month, Anglian Water outlined work in place to help prevent flooding in areas of March but warned there was no 'silver bullet' to solve the issues.
