Police are investigating derelict building fire in Manea




Police are investigating an incident where a derelict village building was set on fire.

Fire crews were called to East Street in Manea on Friday at 7.06pm after reports that a derelict building had been set alight.

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews from March and Chatteris extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 9pm.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
