Fenland pupils got up close and personal with a host of creepy crawlies and scaly creatures when they welcomed special guests into school.
Zoolab brought in a host of creatures for the children of Tydd St Mary School to handle and learn about.
Each class had a different focus from habitats and diet to classification and adaptation.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed interacting with rats, tarantulas, cockroaches, giant millipedes, frogs and snakes to name but a few.
They had opportunity to ask questions but were also completely engaged by amazing facts that were shared and the animals unusual names.
Who knew a snail had 10,000 teeth on its tongue and most spiders are blind?
