LEARN MOREThe sun may have been shining yesterday (Sunday) afternoon but there was snow in Wisbech Town Park as the Friends of the Bandstand staged their Christmas party in the park.
Hundreds turned out to hear Manea Silver Band play a host of musical numbers including festive favourites and of course Christmas carols.
Father Christmas was in attendance and handed out nearly 150 presents to youngsters who enjoyed a play in the snow, provided courtesy of a giant snow making machine.
Random Radio hosted the event which also saw Tom Bryans, a classical guitarist perform chart favourites from the Swinging Sixties to the modern chart.
Hot soup was provided and served by local business and sponsor Adrian Manning Painting and Decorating which helped to keep out the winter chill.
Organisers were delighted with the event's success and are now busy planning next year's programme of musical entertainment at the bandstand.
