Tackling drink and drug use
People in Fenland will be able to share their views on drink and drug use in the area during a focus group meeting next month.
Healthwatch Cambridgeshire with Cambridgeshire County Council are holding five sessions to find out opinions on drug use and excessive drinking in the county.
The council is putting together a joint strategic needs assessment, which helps to plan services for local people.
The focus groups are for people who don’t have experience of using drug or alcohol services.
Healthwatch wants to talk to people of different ages and backgrounds.
A focus group session will be held on Tuesday, December 15, from 2pm to 4pm at the Ferry Project, South Brink in Wisbech.
Reasonable travel expenses will be paid for those who attend the focus group session.
Those taking part in the event will be entered into a draw to win a £50 shopping voucher for taking part.
