Fenland Business Awards: Team of the Year revealed as More Muzic Radio in Whittlesey

A group of volunteers who provide a community with music has scooped up an award in recognition of the work they do.

The team at More Muzic Radio won the Team of the Year award at this year’s Fenland Citizen Business Awards.

The Whittlesey-based company were up against the team at Doorbrite Ltd and RKA Kickboxing Academy, but category sponsors Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce chose More Muzic as the winner with the award presented by Charlotte Horobin.

On receiving the award, Mat Page said: “I could not have done it without the team that is with me and without them it would be impossible.

“It means so much, we do a lot for the community, we support armed forces charities. I am just shocked.

For this category, the judge was looking for an outstanding contribution not only to the organisation and its success but also to colleagues’ welfare and enhancing the working environment and customer experience.

More Muzic Radio is a community interest company run by a small group on volunteers in Whittlesey. It is the local sound of Whittlesey and Fenland region.
