‘Lovely young lady’ announced as Rose Fair Queen during Wisbech Town Council meeting




The queen of a popular event in Wisbech, which will be taking place next month, has been named.

At Monday evening’s town council meeting, Cllr Samantha Hoy announced the girl chosen to take on the key role as this year's Rose Fair Queen.

She said progression is being made towards both festivals for this year – the Rose Fair and the Rockfest.

Kacey Goodson-Allen, 13, who lives in Wisbech, has been picked to be queen for the day.

Cllr Hoy said: “She is a lovely young lady, so I am sure she will do well.

“It seems to be progressing well at the moment, and it should be another great event.”
