Tracey celebrates 30 years at Hickathrift House in Marshland St James
An administrator at Hickathrift House in Marshland St James has received a prestigious 30-Year Service Award.
Tracey Hills started with Barchester Healthcare in June 1993 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.
She joined Hickathrift House at the age of 15 and started as a care assistant. Within the space of six years, Tracey rose to senior carer and then deputy manager by 1999. For the past 16 years, Tracey has worked in the administration team with her colleague Kanita.
After receiving her award and flowers, Tracey said: “I enjoy helping people and advising them where I can. It means a lot to me, helping others. I’ve made friends for life working here and have really enjoyed being part of the team”.
Jane McFarlane, employee services director at Barchester, said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Tracey has achieved this milestone. It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”
Paula Colman, general manager of Hickathrift House, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 30 years of loyal service with Tracey. She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year.
