UPDATE: Two bailed after teenage boy suffers serious head injuries in Sutton attack

A 16-year-old boy has been left with severe head injuries after being attacked in Sutton last night, Tuesday July 28.

The serious assault took place at about 5.30pm in The Brook.

He was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. He received treatment for injuries to his ear. He has since returned to his home in Sutton.

A 13-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were arrested in connection with the incident but have this morning been given bail until August 12.
