Wisbech accountancy firm celebrates anniversary

Chartered certified accountants and tax advisers Bulley Davey are celebrating their 80th anniversary.

Directors of the firm, which has eight offices including in Wisbech, say the business has been through many changes over the decades. Managing director Ian Brown said: “Eighty years in business is a tremendous achievement for any firm. The world of accountancy has come a long way since Maurice Ernest Bulley established the company in 1935 – a period of The Great Depression.” Mr Brown added: “We have just come out of another financial recession, and the firm is helping and seeing businesses thrive.

“We have just expanded our operation in Wisbech, and very recently opened a new office in Stamford. “We are also investing in new technology to keep improving our service.” The expansion of the Wisbech office saw the branch merge with Wisbech accountancy firm Leighton and Co in April.
