Wisbech teenager accused of anti-social behaviour has been given a court order
A Wisbech teenager has been slapped with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) following a police investigation into anti-social behaviour in the town.
The local neighbourhood team put in a successful court application to have the order placed on the seventeen-year-old. The order places strict conditions on the teen and should he breach any of them the courts have given permission for tougher restrictions to be put in place and further adjustments can be submitted by the team.
The team have been praised for their "fantastic job" in gathering the evidence required to submit the application for a CBO, which is time consuming.
Posting on their Facebook page Policing Fenland officers said: "Be assured that just because this CBO is now in place doesn’t mean the proactive work being carried out by the team will stop – it’s simply one down and however many more are needed to go.
"CBOs are just one of the tools we can use to tackle ASB in an area and we will continue to robustly apply all the options available to us to target individuals that cause harm to the community."
