Chatteris woman Kim Tennant dies after Ford Tourneo crashed into tree on Monkswood Road near Woodwalton




A Chatteris woman who was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash at the weekend has died.

Kim Tennant, 55, of Tithe Road, died in hospital last night after the blue Ford Tourneo she was driving left the road and collided with a tree near Woodwalton, police have confirmed this afternoon.

Yesterday, officers launched an appeal for witnesses and information after emergency services were called to Monkswood Road at about 4pm on Saturday.

Kim was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious, life-threatening injuries following the crash.

A 13-year-old girl who was a passenger in the car suffered minor injuries.

No other vehicles were involved.
