Air ambulance called and woman taken to hospital after crashing into building on Dartford Road in March




A woman has been taken to hospital after being released from a vehicle by firefighters.

A fire crew from March was called to Dartford Road in the town at 6.21pm on Wednesday after a car crashed into a building.

Using specialist equipment, they released a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.

The crew was at the scene until around 7pm.

The East of England Ambulance Service said: “Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and the MAGPAS air ambulance were called.

“One woman was transported by road ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital.”
