In their final group game, Wisbech drew 0-0 with Louth, both teams qualifying for the semi-finals.

In the semi against Alford, McManus, Clark and Sawers were on target as Wisbech won 3-0.

Louth were again the opponents in the final, and Wisbech put in some high quality passing and moving to win 2-0, Clark and Sawers the scorers.

Manager Jonny Pearce said: “I couldn’t be more proud of the lads. We knew we had a strong squad but you never know what you will be up against.

“We played to our strengths and we went six games without conceding one goal which is some achievement. We have always been in the later end of tournaments but we wanted that winning feeling back and today we got it.”
