Gayna O'Rourke and Claire Smith both finish in under five hours
Bodymode Running Club (Chatteris) were represented at the 39th Virgin London Marathon on Sunday by Roger Tolfree 72, from Mepal.
Roger (pictured) is known for his running enthusiasm and the club were delighted to be able to give him their first-ever club place this year.
He is such an inspiration and great support to other members of BRC. Roger completed the race in 6:23:13.
He reported to the club the his effort was "Slow, but I achieved my two goals of running and smiling every step of the way. Amazing experience!"
Local teacher and BRC Run Leader Gayna O'Rourke, completed London in 4:57:58 and this is her second of three marathons, having completed Manchester three weeks ago and with Liverpool marathon at the end of May.
Gayna is raising funds for Children with Cancer care after having battled with the disease herself.
Head coach Michelle Bird said: "She is a true fighter and inspiration to everyone."
Finally BRC member Claire Smith crossed the finish line with a time of 4:31:19. This is her second Marathon and after many months of training she has raised over £1700 funds for ARC – Antenatal Results and Choices, a charity which is close to her.
Bird added: "All three club members are an inspiration and have shown anything is possible when you are passionate. Bodymode Running club are very proud."
