Former Pinchbeck, Huntingdon and Peterborough Northern Star striker signs for Parson Drove in Thurlow Nunn League




Parson Drove have been back in the transfer market ahead of their Thurlow Nunn First Division North home opener against Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers at the weekend.

Drove have signed striker Corey Kingston, who knows the level well having played for the likes of Pinchbeck, Huntingdon and Peterborough Northern Star.

Kingston was on target with a brace during a 6-2 win against Peterborough Premier League side Wittering at the weekend.

Looking ahead to a new season, manager Arran Duke said: "The aim is to improve on last season's finish but with so many changes to the playing group we also have to be realistic.

"We mustn't put too much pressure on the group but if we gel as a group quickly we could surprise a few people."
