Parson Drove manager Robbie Harris remained upbeat after his side's latest friendly game.
Drove lost 3-0 to Deeping Rangers last Tuesday, but Harris took plenty of positives.
"I thought we gave a good account of ourselves," he said.
"We caused them a few issues, and again things like set pieces let us down. So we'll be working on that.
"Overall, we were pleased. We matched them for work-rate and effort, and our fitness was good."
Drove will face off against Wittering Premiair this Saturday as their return to competitive football edges ever closer.
