Open category success for March members at Peterborough




March Athletics Club had several individual leg winners at the Green Wheel Relay.

The relay takes place around the Peterborough region and sees teams of seven runners complete approximately 50 miles between them.

There were nine March AC teams competing in the event with many runners, cyclists, and volunteers representing the club.

The teams all put forward strong performances with one group winning the open category for the relay.

Glen Watts, Serge Lambert, Olivia Mead, and Kanina O'Neil all had fantastic runs and managed to win their legs.

The following weekend, Toni Alcaraz was in action at the England Masters Half Marathon 2025 in Swansea.

Representing England, Alcaraz put forward another amazing showing, completing the race in 1:32:02 - two minutes faster than last year.
