March Soccer School scoops county FA award

March Soccer School FC are one of seven winners of the Cambridgeshire FA Community Awards presented by McDonald’s.

MSS won the FA Charter Standard Development Club Award. Each of the winners have also been nominated for regional awards.

Throughout spring the football community nominated their local heroes, clubs and leagues who have gone above and beyond in the name of football. A judging panel met to consider the nominations and decide the winners.

The county winners will be invited to a presentation event and receive tickets to the FA Community Shield.

Chris Pringle, chief executive of Cambridgeshire FA, said: “It was pleasing to receive so many nominations from local people who appreciate the commitment and enthusiasm put in by numerous volunteers to make football happen.
