March club takes on teams from Peterborough, Newmarket, Ely, Wisbech, St Ives, Huntingdon, and Biggleswade in Fenland Open Meet




March Marlins hosted their annual Fenland Open Meet at Manor Leisure in Whittlesey.

The event welcomed swimming clubs from across the region, including Peterborough, Newmarket, Ely, Wisbech, St Ives, Huntingdon, and Biggleswade, making for a day of exciting and competitive swimming.

An impressive 40 swimmers represented March Marlins, delivering outstanding performances and achieving 80 personal bests.

Special congratulations go to Harry Rickard and Mason Riley, who were awarded Top Boy in their respective age categories – a fantastic achievement that highlights their dedication and talent.

The event's success was made possible thanks to the tireless efforts of the committee, officials, and volunteers, whose hard work ensured a smooth and enjoyable day for all involved.

Meanwhile, on a larger stage, senior Marlins swimmers Jude Staton, Luis Suoto Hill, and Isla Staton proudly competed at the AP International competition held at the London Aquatics Centre.

Facing tough competition, they delivered brilliant performances and secured new personal bests.

Many of the club's younger swimmers attended the event as spectators, inspired by the high-level competition and the exceptional performances of their fellow Marlins.
