Park Ladies took on high-flying Fulbourn knowing that this would be a tough game.

However, it was Park who had the better start, with a good move straight from kick-off releasing Hana Howsam down the wing and creating some early pressure on the Fulbourn goal.

Park won an early corner but were unable to get on the end of it, and more good work around the box saw the final ball end up just too long for anyone to get on the end of.

After that, Fulbourn started to get the ball down and play some good passing football and worked their way into the game.

The deadlock was broken when a Fulbourn forward was allowed to break into the area unchallenged and she curled her shot into the far corner.

Shortly after that they added a second, with a goalmouth scramble seeing the ball land in front of a Fulbourn player to poke home at the near post.

The third duly arrived almost straight after when the Park goalkeeper failed to hold a ball whipped across the area and the ball deflected to the following-up forward to tap home.

Park kept pushing forward, with Amy Hunt and Georgia Stimson pressing and looking to break through the Fulbourn back line, and Fran Plitsch and Chloe Stanborough covering plenty of ground in order to win the ball and create openings.

Fulbourn won the ball, pushed forward and grabbed a fourth. The initial shot was deflected into the air by Holcroft, and the resultant scramble saw the ball blocked several times before it was slotted home.

Park again failed to clear their lines and another close-range scramble saw the ball reach a Fulbourn player to hit home from close range.

The second half saw a much better performance from Park, with some good football played.

However, Fulbourn saw the ball drop kindly for them, and they put several more goals away.

A bright 20-minute spell saw Park create several opportunities, but the final ball continued to let them down.

Fulbourn did break through again, with a screamer of a shot squeezing home at the near post. 6-0.

Molly Kirby was outstanding at the back, cutting out balls and breaking down Fulbourn attacks early and mounting several counter attacks of her own.

Jade Foley received the ball on the edge of the box and hit a good shot, but it was straight at the keeper.

Fulbourn won a corner, and this found the head of a midfielder who powered it home.

Park were starting to tire and Fulbourn kept pressing forward. Their eighth arrived from the edge of the area past an advancing keeper, and a ninth arrived not long after.

Park now have a few weeks of rest before their final four games of the season.
