Both games see strong tackles and sterling runs from teams

A large squad from St Ives travelled to play Wisbech under-12’s, who only had a small squad, so both teams were mixed to form two ‘Barbarians’ teams.

Both games saw strong tackles and sterling runs from both teams to score several well-worked team tries.

Tries came thick and fast with the Wisbech players demonstrating some good rucking and offloads within the tackle.

With five of the nine Wisbech players scoring tries, it was a very strong showing from the smaller of the two teams.

The matches were played in a fantastic spirit and both teams were a credit to their clubs.
