Ian Milburn of Fenland Running Club completes 250th parkrun at King’s Lynn race




Ian Milburn (pictured) of Fenland Running Club completed his 250th parkrun on Saturday by completing the 439th King’s Lynn race.

Each race is at 9am on a Saturday and Ian has raced around The Walks some 193 times, as well as running at 47 further parkruns up and down the country.

In all, this huge achievement has seen him cover 1,250km (780 miles).

His quickest time was a mere 21-30, which gave him an outstanding age grading of 82%.

For his 250th race, though, he slowed down and enjoyed the run – carrying a celebratory balloon round with him and enjoying some home-made cake afterwards!
