March victorious but defeats for Wisbech and Wisbech St Mary

March Town made it two wins out of two with a cracking 4-0 victory at Framlingham Town this afternoon.

But Wisbech Town crashed out of the FA Cup after a 4-3 defeat at lower league Haverhill Rovers.

And Wisbech St Mary lost 5-1 at Lakenheath Town.

In the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League division one north, Eoin McQuaid starred as the Hares made it two wins out of two. Jack Friend (2), Craig Gillies and Toby Allen were on target, while the Saints lost 5-1 in the same division.

Liam Adams, Dylan Edge and Avi Vieira all scored for Wisbech but an awful defensive showing was their downfall.
