Halloween trick shots and treats at Chatteris Tennis Club annual smash event for juniors
Trick shots and treats abounded at Chatteris Tennis Club as it served up its annual Halloween smash event for juniors in coaching.
All four courts were fully utilised for family fun throughout the evening by this year’s record breaking attendance of 50 juniors and adults.
After fun on court everyone was invited to the club house, which had been converted to a witch's lair, to enjoy a Halloween feast.
It was a truly spooky occasion on the courts, as witches and warlocks, skeletons and ghouls challenged parents and members with their scary serves and bewitching shots.
The evening concluded with the judging of the fancy dress and pumpkin competitions which were won by Aiden Cleaver and Nicholas Westrope.
A spokesperson said: “With us now able to provide facilities for all year round tennis, we’re continually seeking to expand the opportunities we provide for match play and club tennis and also a broad range of both tennis and non tennis social events to encourage people of all ages and abilities to enjoy tennis as a sport for all.”
