This year runners got to experience a brand-new route with the event starting on the iconic Pall Mall, before runners took in the sights and sounds of London’s awe-inspiring landmarks, eventually finishing outside Downing Street.

Seven members took part with Three Counties RC also running to raise money and awareness for some great charities.

Steve Whitelam was running for The Pituitary Foundation, Mandy Doggett was taking part for Parkinson’s UK and Ewa Szczygielska was raising money for Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide.

First home for the club was Phil Newton who was using the race as a training run for Leeds marathon.

Newton’s time was 1.47.41.

Sarah Johnson and Claire Smithee crossed the line together in 2.08.42, Szczygielska ran a fantastic five-minute personal best in 2.29.49, Whitelam finished in 2.28.54, Doggett in 2.55.12 and Janette Smith 3.00.54.
