Tydd St Giles golfers play in Everett Shield and Rabbits Cup Trophy

Tydd St Giles golfers have been involved in some exciting competitions.

Ladies captain Sylvia Illsley recently crowned Chris Young the winner of the Eunice Everett Shield after a winning score of 36 points, edging Val Aspland after countback. Maria Taylor-Vassall was in third place with 32 points.

Penny Wicks was the winner of the Rabbits Cup with 35 points, while Chris Montague was second with 32 points and captain Sylvia Illsley third with 28.

Meanwhile, the Seniors Club Championship was won by Graham Ralf with a score of 69+69=138. Second was Brain Crilly with 69+70=139, and third Brian Newby with 69+71=140. Ken Doughty with 67+74=141 was fourth.
