Fenland gyms, beauty salons and other facilities will soon be able to reopen
It has been announced that an array of beauty outlets and leisure facilities will be able to open later this month.
In a Downing Street briefing today (Thursday), Oliver Dowden, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, announced that initially, outdoor pools will be able to reopen on Saturday, July 11.
Indoor gyms, swimming pools and sports facilities will follow and be able to open their doors once again from July 25.
Recreational sport will be able to return from this weekend, beginning with cricket - and others will return in due course.
As of Monday, July 13, beauticians, tattooists, spas and tanning salons can reopen to customers but this will be "subject to some restrictions on particularly high-risk services".
Outdoor theatres will also be able to put on performances from Saturday.
