Blooming great: Flower festival set to return to Fenland church

A small army of volunteers will be working to create the floral displays for a Fenland flower show at the weekend.

Parson Drove Emmanual Church will be holding its first flower festival since the pandemic from Friday September 23, to Sunday (25).

This beautiful Church has a half-domed roof with blue ceiling embossed with gold stars, which is quite a unique feature for a church.

To follow this beautiful show, on Friday September 30 a Macmillan Coffee Morning will be held in the church from 10am to 2pm, all monies will go to the local Macmillan fund in Wisbech and it will allow visitors another chance to see the flower displays and support the charity at the same time.
