Budding pop stars dazzle at Wisbech Queen Mary Centre thanks to skills workshop
Budding pop stars dazzled at a week-long workshop learning the skills needed to be a star.
Led by Lisa Tawn and her Bedazzled team the workshop saw her regular group of adults with special needs joined by youngsters aged seven to 12.
The workshop, held at the Queen Mary Centre in Wisbech, saw the group learn eight songs and eight dances in just four days.
They ended their week recording a disc of their songs on the Thursday and putting on a performance for friends and family on the Friday.
Lisa said: “It has taken four or five months of hard work to prepare for this with the support of Lizzie Wales from Cambridgeshire County Council who helped fund the week, but it was worth every minute.
“It was a totally overwhelming experience.”
