Death of Wisbech woman found in Ramnoth Road house remains unexplained as police wait on toxicology results




The death of a woman found inside a house in Wisbech last week is being treated as ‘unexplained’.

Police were called at 5.20pm last Wednesday (January 15) with reports of the sudden death on Ramnoth Road.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said an investigation had been launched into the death of the woman who was in her 50s.

A postmortem took place on Tuesday (January 21) but remains inconclusive but now investigators are awaiting toxicology results.

Police added: “It is still being treated as unexplained and there is no longer a police presence at the address.”
