Wisbech Grammar School inviting former pupils back to celebrate 30th and 40th alumni anniversaries
A school is inviting former pupils for a celebration event to reconnect and reminisce about some old memories.
Wisbech Grammar School is inviting all of its former students who attended between 1985 and 1995 to an Alumni event on Friday, June 7, marking 30 and 40 years since their school days.
The event offers a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and relive cherished memories.
The celebration will take place from 12.30pm-3pm on the school grounds during its summer fair, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere filled with fun, food, and nostalgia.
Light refreshments will be served, and guests are encouraged to explore the fair, meet up with old friends, and enjoy a relaxed, informal afternoon.
Barney Rimmer, head teacher, said: “We are so excited to welcome our alumni back to school. This event is particularly meaningful to me, as I was part of the 1980s cohort myself.
“Walking these corridors again with former classmates, now as head teacher, is a surreal and special experience.
“It is a chance not only to celebrate the school's history, but also to reflect on how far we have all come. I’m looking forward to sharing memories and seeing familiar faces return to the place where it all began.”
Whether you graduated in 1985 or were part of the class of 1995, the school would love to see you there.
