Youngsters learned life skills during a juggling lesson.

Upwell Primary School had arranged a special week of activities aimed at encouraging youngsters to raise their aspirations and learn about perseverance. BMX rider Mike Mullens had also visited the school to speak to youngsters about the importance of setting goals. The Spalts jugglers ran sessions entitled learning on the drop. Younger children enjoyed learning how to juggle with scarves while older pupils went onto use bean bags and balls. Staff have also enjoyed getting in on the act. Headteacher James McBurney said: “The whole point was to illustrate to the children that they have to keep trying. ” Juggler Steve Kemp is pictured with youngsters PICTURE: mfcp15pm12010
