Police have issued a timely reminder to do go owners to keep their pets under control following an incident in Gorefield on this afternoon (Tuesday).
Posting to their Facebook page Fenland police said: "Neighbourhood officers attended Gorefield to help round up a flock of sheep that had sought refuge in a neighbouring garden.
"The sheep had been chased out of their field by a dog that was not on a lead.
"Fortunately, no sheep were injured. It is really important to keep dogs under proper control at all times, even in a rural setting. It is an offence to worry livestock."
