Large bonfire in open land in March took crews more than three hours to extinguish




A fire broke out in the open last night which took crews more than three hours to put out.

Firefighters from March were called to the fire on Flaggrass Hill Road in March at 9.10pm.

Fire crews used hose reels to extinguish a large bonfire and returned back to their station by 12.40am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
