March primary school supports Breast Cancer charity

Youngsters at Burrowmoor Primary School in March have raised £586 for Breast Cancer Now by taking part in a Wear It Pink Day.

Office manager Helen Foad organised the day and several members of staff also made cakes with a pink theme.

Mrs Foad said:“Sadly we have several members of staff who have been affected by breast cancer, and participating in the Wear It Pink day allowed us to show our support for the great work this charity does.”

Head, Carrie Henderson, was delighted with the response.
