March woman aims to make a grand gesture with 'Shazza's Big Shave'

March woman Sharon Watson is planning to shed her locks to raise money for the Respite Service she works for in March.

The service provides care and support for adults with learning difficulties in the town and Sharon explained: "Due to the pandemic we unfortunately had to cancel our fundraising events, which normally raise much needed funds for the service. We would like to be able to purchase some new garden furniture.

"So I have decided to have my hair shaved off to raise some money on Wednesday September 9."

However, Sharon is not content with just going bald for her good cause, she has also announced she will be dyeing her hair bright red.

she said: "Being a huge Arsenal fan, to celebrate them winning the FA Cup final I will be dyeing my hair bright red - I have never dyed my hair before - So please dig deep and help us reach our target of £1,000."
