Andrew Woollard chosen as next mayor of March during vote at town council meeting

The new mayor for March has been chosen at the town council's latest meeting.

At Monday evening's meeting, Cllr Andrew Woollard was selected to take on the role.

This comes after councillors nominated who they wanted to replace the current mayor, Cllr Gary Christy.

Cllr Andrew Woollard received the majority of the votes and will be starting the position from May 12.
