Police arrest man in Wisbech on suspicion of drug dealing

Police have arrested a man in Wisbech on suspicion of drug dealing after he was originally stopped in connection with another incident.

Officers responding to an incident stopped a man in his twenties who matched the description of one of the individuals involved.

However, while he was not related to the initial incident, he was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs after he was found in possession of several bags of cannabis.

He has since been bailed until August, and an investigation is ongoing.
