Police probe sudden death of woman on Wisbech's Beechwood Road

Police have launched an investigation into the sudden death of a woman this morning.

Officers were called to Beechwood Road, Wisbech by paramedics, and are currently treating it as unexplained.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing police vehicles and forensic officers at the scene.

A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were informed at 6.33am this morning by the ambulance service of the sudden death of a woman in Beechwood Road, Wisbech.

"Detectives are looking into the circumstances of the death, which they are currently treating as unexplained."
